How it stays honest

Why is immersive built by a team that also does decisioning and rules different from immersive built as media production? Because in immersive work the deterministic layer does not sit inside the headset as a rules engine. Its contribution is discipline: keeping the procedures the experience teaches correct, current, and approved. The same governance that makes a regulated decision auditable is what stops immersive content drifting into teaching an outdated or unapproved method.

What is the difference between VR, AR, and XR?

Virtual reality puts a person inside a fully simulated environment; augmented reality overlays digital guidance onto the real one; XR, extended reality, is the umbrella term for both. We use whichever fits the work.

Is immersive training actually more effective, or is it a gimmick?

It is effective where the task is physical, hazardous, or hard or expensive to rehearse safely, because people learn by doing rather than reading. Where a document or a video would do the job, we say so.

Do we need headsets for everyone?

No. Immersive spans headsets, augmented reality on a phone or tablet in the field, and kiosk experiences. The device follows the work, not the other way around.
