Why immersive works

The lesson that is lived is the lesson that sticks.

Some knowledge does not survive a manual or a slide. The order you do things in under pressure, the thing that feels wrong before it looks wrong, the judgement a senior operator built over fifteen years: that lives in the doing, and it walks out the door when they retire. Immersive training captures it while they are still here, and lets the next person practise it until it is theirs.

The trainee rehearses the actual procedure, the real sequence, and the real decision points, including the ways it goes wrong, in a place where a mistake costs nothing. When they reach the real equipment or the real patient, they have already been here.

3DFrame is largely self-contained for training delivery. It integrates with LMS for tracking and certification, and with maintenance management systems for AR overlay use cases. Vection's R&D partnership with UNIBO (Italian university) drives the underlying platform roadmap.

Content authoring tools

No-code or low-code authoring for both training simulations and AR overlays. Your own training team builds the content, work instructions, failure modes, branching scenarios, without a 3D studio or specialist developer. Authoring is the headline capability, because content is what makes the difference between a demo and a training programme people actually use.

Runtime engine

Immersive training delivery on VR headsets. AR overlay for in-work guidance on AR glasses or mobile. Desktop and mobile fallback for trainees without dedicated XR hardware. The same content runs across delivery modes; the trainer chooses the right mode for the procedure and the trainee, not the platform.

AI-assisted authoring and in-experience guidance

AI helps keep the library current: it can regenerate a procedure from an updated description, so revising content takes far less effort than a full rebuild. And where you want a conversational trainer inside the session, Algho can be integrated as an optional in-experience guide, answering a learner's questions in the moment. Both are integrations you can switch on, not prerequisites for running 3DFrame.

Hardware-agnostic delivery

Works across consumer headsets (Meta Quest, Apple Vision Pro), enterprise headsets, AR glasses, mobile, and desktop. You are not locked into a hardware vendor whose roadmap is not yours. New headset generations slot in; older hardware keeps working. The platform abstracts the hardware so your organisation does not have to.

Procedure library

Pre-built procedure templates and industry-specific content packs. Common patterns, safety procedures, equipment walkthroughs, anatomical training, doctor-patient simulations, ship as starting points. Your own content extends them. The library evolves as the platform evolves; new packs do not require new licensing.

Authoring-first, by design

The people who know the work build the training.

Immersive training only holds up when the content matches the job, and the people who understand the job best are already inside your operation. 3DFrame is built so they can author it directly. The senior trainer who has run the supervised training for fifteen years authors the simulation. The procedure expert captures the procedure. The work-instruction author writes the work instruction.

That is what keeps a programme alive past the first pilot. The content is produced by the people who know the work, not by a third party who has to be re-briefed every time the procedure changes, so the library grows and stays current instead of freezing after launch.

3DFrame is hardware-agnostic by design. The decision is not "which headset," it is "which delivery mode for which training." We support the consumer headsets that have made XR economically viable for industrial training, Meta Quest and Apple Vision Pro. We support enterprise headsets where the work environment requires them. We support AR glasses and mobile devices for overlay use cases at point of work. And we support desktop and mobile for trainees who do not need immersive delivery.

The platform abstracts the hardware. New headset generations slot in without re-authoring the content. Older hardware keeps working until you choose to retire it. The training programme does not depend on a particular vendor's roadmap.
